Apartments Internet Access
If you are resident in the Village Apartments, Rye Hall or the River Apartments you will have internet access in your apartment. There is an IT Residence Assistant who is available to give you information and advice in realtion to getting connected to the network.
Our IT Residence Assistant for 2012-13 is Edgaras Mickus.
Karl will be in the River Reception office at the following times during term for a drop-in service:
Mondays 6.30 pm 8.30 pm
Wednesdays 6.30pm to 8.30pm

Network connectivity is available to all residents in the Student Apartments, via wired connections in Rye and River and wireless in the Village Apartments. Full access to the internet and the University e-mail service 24 hours per day is available using the data port in each bedroom.
Data points in kitchens/living areas are not active.
A valid university logon account is required to obtain network connectivity. Logon accounts are issued to students when registering.
